Chester Bennington's widow Talinda Bennington, 43, remarried on January 4, three days after the day she married the late Linkin Park singer back in 2005.

According to TMZ, Talinda tied the knot with LA County firefighter Michael Fredman at the Turtle Bay resort in Kahuku, Hawaii on January 1 but Talinda took to social media to shut down the false reports.

She put up a post on Instagram informing fans and followers of the momentous occasion. She told fans she would never sully the memory she shared with Chester on January 1 and that she married Fredman on January 4 in O'ahu." My anniversary with my love, Chester, JAN 1 Was NOT THE DAYE. Jan 1st will always be the day I married Chester. I would never paint over that beautiful day with anything else" she wrote.

Talinda had got engaged to Fredman in April. Fredman had joined the County of LA Fire Department after around 17 weeks of grueling physical and mental training. He was amongst the 46 who had received badges in a graduation ceremony in 2016.

Their engagement came around two years after the Linkin Park star committed suicide in his Palos Verdes home in 2017.

At the time, Talinda and their three children were out of the house and were out of town. Talinda's children- Tyler and twins Lilly and Lila were also in attendance at their mother's destination wedding along with other family and friends. Talinda had announced her engagement in September and had said, "I am overjoyed to announce my engagement to my angel on earth, Michael F. I am here to tell you that you can find love after tragedy."

"To all suicide loss survivors, you CAN be happy again. You CAN have space in your heart for grief, joy, happiness, sadness, and love. My family, friends, and my Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms. I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life's mission to make his passing not in vain," she shared.

Ever since Chester took his own life, Talinda has dedicated her life to raising awareness for mental health by founding 320 Changes Direction. The inaugural 320 Festival will launch in LA this May. Chester had skyrocketed to fame as the lead singer of the rock band 'Linkin Park'. He had been very vocal and open about his battles with his mental health, alcohol, and drug abuse over the years.
