WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Cher has reportedly decided to put her wedding plans with boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards on hold after her loved ones warned her that the music producer was a danger to her $380M fortune. The couple, who began dating in the fall of 2022, are still together but Edwards' sway over the 77-year-old pop icon seems to wearing off, according to sources.
“For a while, Cher followed this guy around like a lovesick puppy, but the blinders seem to be coming off,” an insider close to the couple told Radar Online while another added, “Cher’s starting to see Alexander in a different light.” The ‘Strong Enough’ hit-maker was recently spotted in Los Angeles sans the massive diamond ring that Edwards gave her. She first flashed the ring in December 2022, but at that time many speculated that she bought the diamond with her own money.

'She was throwing it at this guy'
Earlier, it was revealed that Cher has been blindly spending money on Edwards, sparking concerns that her children will be left with nothing to inherit. “Cher has always been so careful about her money, but she was throwing it at this guy and funding his over-the-top lifestyle!
