Cher, known as the "Goddess of Pop," 76 has confirmed her relationship with toyboy music producer Alexander Edwards by sharing a photo of his boyfriend along with a heart emoji on Twitter on Saturday, November 5. The 76-year-old music star confessed that her 36-year-old boyfriend treats her "like a queen" in a series of tweets, in which she gushed about him.

The singer, who had introduced Alexander to her family earlier, laughed aside their 40-year age difference and said, "Love doesn't know math," reports Daily Mail. After being seen holding hands with Amber Rose's ex Alexander as they left for dinner in West Hollywood, California, on November 2, Cher had ignited whispers of a new relationship. They initially met during Paris Fashion Week last month, she added when a fan urged her to confirm their connection with a sequence of emoticons.

Meanwhile, the news about her relationship with the 36-year-old music producer has received mixed reactions from social media users. Some trolled Cher tweeting "Is this your child?" While some found it mad funny and many praised her courage. The "Goddess of Pop" savagely responded to the responses on Twitter. Cher replied to trolls with the statement, "I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn’ Matter That we’re Happy & Not Bothering Anyone."

Cher fans are happy about her relationship with Alexander. One user tweeted, "So happy for you. Woman you deserve only the best. And you have always picked a hottie. Unless the picture is for another reason. Whatever , you got this. Cher is twice divorced and has a 53-year-old son Chaz Bono with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono, who died at age 62 after hitting a tree while skiing in 1998. She was married to singer Gregg Allman from 1975 to 1978, decades before he died in 2017 at age 69. Cher and Gregg had a son together named Elijah Blue Allman, who is now 46.

Alexander 'AE' Edwards is a rapper and music businessman, according to The Sun. He is reportedly signed with Tyga's label Last Kings and is Universal Music Group's executive. Alexander shot to fame when he started dating model Amber Rose in 2018, with the duo debuting as a couple at her annual SlutWalk event.

In January 2019, Amber gushed that AE came into her life at a time when she had had "enough of the narcissistic, cheating and abuse I've endured over the years from my previous relationships." The couple then welcomed their first son Slash in October 2020. In August 2021, however, the model took to her Instagram Stories and accused the music producer of having affairs with 12 different people. Alexander later took to social media to admit to cheating on her.

Cher previously admitted that she dates younger men, citing her relationships with Ron Zimmerman, who is 12 years younger, Tom Cruise, who she dated when he was 23 and she was 38, and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi, who is 13 years younger than her.
