Chelsea Handler rues 50 Cent used to be 'favorite ex’ as rapper supports Trump, Internet says 'not worth a cent'

50 Cent has said that he is going to vote Trump over Biden as the Democratic nominee’s tax plan has let him down

Chelsea Handler who once used to like 50 Cent despite having broken up with him has now said that she is over him. The 45-year-old comedian took a dig at her former beau after the rapper showed support to Donald Trump while ditching his opponent Joe Biden. According to reports, 50 Cent was not happy with the Democratic nominee’s tax plan and tweeted, “Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very, bad idea. 😟i don’t like it! #abcforlife nov 18 #starzgettheapp.” The ‘Patiently Waiting’ singer also shared a TV news graphic of Biden's tax plans on his Instagram account and claimed that he did not care if the Republican leader “doesn’t like Black people.” The caption of the image posted on October 19 read, “WHAT THE F**K! (VOTE ForTRUMP) I'M OUT, 🏃‍♂️💨F**K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. 🤷🏽‍♂️I don’t care Trump doesn’t like Black people. 62% are you out of ya fucking mind?”

He shared the same thoughts in his tweet that upset his ex, Handler, whom he dated back in 2010. They had a steamy relationship for months before they went separate ways, but could not remove each other completely from their lives. Even when the former late night talk show host shared a picture of herself skiing without a top on six years ago, 50 Cent could not stop himself from commenting and wrote, “Hi haters, boy I love @chelseahandler out of control. Lol.” But this time matter got complicated when Handler did not understand her former flame’s logic behind supporting Trump and tweeted, “You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend.”

Several others also joined her in slamming 50 Cent as one person wrote on Instagram, “pay attention Black folks. stop being loyal to those who put their luxury over your livelihood.” A second user added: “IF YOU MAKE OVER $400,000/year!!!! If you don’t you will be receiving a tax CUT!!! This the dumbest s**t 50 ever posted!!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Ya’ll don’t make that much so have several seats! And vote for Biden!!!! Not a racist!”

People on Twitter also did not miss the chance to attack 50 Cent. One user tweeted, “Joe Biden has pledged to only impose higher taxes on those earning more than $400,000 a year — about 1.5% of the US population. 50cent is not worth a cent now it seems.” A second one said, “Taxation can be negotiated, but 220k dead people can’t be brought back. This is bigger than money 50.”

“This is a s**t take, yo! You have $30 million (probably more) to your name. How much more do you 'need'!? This country is in ruins because wealthy people hoard their wealth. During the boom years, the progressive tax rate was as high as 91%,” wrote the third user while the fourth one added: “50 what’s wrong with you? Why would you sell us out like this? Is there any wonder why they talk about us like they do? You don’t know me personally but I respected you and I supported you. You be talking out the side of your neck at times but this, this one hurts the soul.”
