Where is Chayce Beckham? ‘American Idol’ 19 winner is busy living the new life
The big daddy of reality shows ‘American Idol’ is all set to return with its 20th edition which will prove to be the fifth season for the ABC Network. The previous editions of the singing reality show were aired on Fox Network for 15 years. ‘American Idol’ Season 19 got the fans hooked in summer 2021 as they saw Chayce Beckham - the country singer from Apple Valley, California getting crowned as the winner.
Chayce Beckham had beaten Willie Spence to lift the coveted title of the reality show’s 19th season. The 25-year-old, who has now gained more than 250K followers on Instagram has been doing a lot lately to make sure he stays in the limelight. Speaking of ‘American Idol’, judges from the previous season namely country music icon Luke Bryan, pop princess Katy Perry and singer Lionel Richie will mark their return to the show. However, mentor Bobby Bones won’t be seen in the latest edition as he will be busy working on another show. Host Ryan Seacrest- the original alum of ‘American Idol’ will be taking care of the hosting duties like always.

Where is Chayce Beckham?
Before life happened for Chayce Beckham, the singer-songwriter used to work for a construction firm. Looking at his earlier montages on the show, it was revealed that at first, he was not sure if he wanted to audition for ‘American Idol’. However, thanks to his parents, he decided to give it a shot. With a rocky past that includes a lot of drinking, he ultimately decided to make some positive changes. Chayce uses his Instagram page to regularly post about his music projects that also included his winning stint on 'American Idol'.
After winning the show, Chayce Beckham pulled up his socks and got back to writing songs. Chayce soon moved to Nashville with an intention to drop new music. Sharing an update on Instagram, he earlier said that he was “all settled in, back to writing songs every morning” adding, “I’m really excited to get these tracks recorded and released for y’all.” He further shared that moving across the country and being away from his family was a “whirlwind,” adding, “I’m so grateful for all the people I’ve met this past year who have become my family, for making me feel so welcome here in Nashville, and guiding me along the way and helping me stay grounded.”
At the end of 2021, Chayce teamed up with singer Lindsay Ell to release a song called ‘Can’t Do Without Me’. The track was later dropped on YouTube with an official music video. The winner of Season 19 had released his debut single ‘23’ during the finale of the show. He has been constantly honing his craft as a singer-songwriter while enjoying a new life in Nashville. Chayce might be seen again in the new season as a guest but nothing is official yet. MEAWW will keep you posted.
When will ‘American Idol’ 20 air?
The 20th season of ‘American Idol’ is all set to debut on Sunday, February 27. The show is expected to hit the ABC Network with 18 episodes and might wrap up in late May. The auditions for the new season were held in Los Angeles, Austin and Nashville. Online auditions too happened with virtual sessions. While the format of the show will remain same, a new platinum ticket will be introduced that would allow the holders to skip the first day of Hollywood Week.
