Charlie Sheen makes rare sighting with eldest daughter Sam, 15, at Coachella
Charlie Sheen proved that he too can be a cool dad, as he was spotted hanging out with his 15-year-old daughter Sam at Coachella Music Festival on Saturday night. The 'Two And A Half Men' actor looked pretty much in good spirits as he proceeded to enjoy the second weekend of events at the star-studded music fest in Indio, California with a group of young friends.
Sheen strolled alongside his purple-haired daughter Sam with his hands in his pockets wearing extremely casual clothes for his day out, reports Daily Mail. The 'Major Leagues' actor rocked a striped T-shirt, shorts, and black sweatshirt, and paired it all with a black cap faced backward while strolling comfortably through the grounds wearing sneakers.
Sam, whose mother is the actor's ex-wife Denise Richards, wore her colorful hair in two braids and kept herself warm in an oversize jacket. Along with Sam, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star also shares daughter Lola with Sheen. Sheen also shares sons Max and Bob with ex Brooke Mueller, along with a daughter Cassandra with ex Paula Profit.
The 'Platoon' star was spotted soaking up the festive vibe of Coachella on Friday night among the countless music lovers enjoying a weekend getaway. Sheen appeared cheerful and upbeat as he flashed a peace sign while strolling the festival grounds, as per reports.
The actor's appearance at Coachella came right after his time in the UK., where he reflected on his public battle with alcohol and drug addiction during an appearance on 'Loose Women'. During the interview, Sheen, who marked one year of sobriety back in December, revealed that he has now graduated from rehab.
The 'Anger Management' star spoke candidly about how being unable to care for his daughter inspired him to go sober, and even admitted to feeling 'possessed by a demon' whenever he wanted a drink. He was also made to watch some of the infamous moments of his very public meltdowns over the years, which left him shell-shocked.
The actor confessed, "It feels awful. I can't sit there and lie to you. Some of it is very surreal. To this day, I am not sure how I created such chaos and wound up in that headspace. It's not like how I'm living and existing today. It's as though there was some alien or demonic possession going on."
However, he added further: "I didn't go to prison or kill anyone. I wish I could make some of that stuff go away but it wouldn't be called a past if there wasn't any. I took the brunt of my behavior myself."
