Charlie Sheen admits to feeling 'good' weeks after celebrating one year of sobriety, says it 'had to be done'
Sheen, a father-of-five, had in the past revealed that he was clean and sober for 11 years but began to use again after he was diagnosed with HIV in 2012
Charlie Sheen was earlier known for his fast life, his penchant for drugs, booze, and his womanizing habits but after his HIV diagnosis, the former wild man of Hollywood has been undergoing an impressive transformation, starting with being sober.
"That was good, that was good, yes, indeed — had to be done, had to be done," said the 53-year-old actor recently, ever since going public with his new journey in life. The admission from Sheen came in during his appearance at the California Strong Celebrity Softball Game in Malibu on Sunday.
