LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charli D’Amelio is facing backlash over an incident at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights event that resulted in an injury to one of the theme park's workers.

Halloween Horror Nights is an annual tradition at various Universal Studios theme parks worldwide, including Hollywood and Orlando. They are renowned for spine-tingling attractions, haunted houses, and scare actors that haunt the parks after 7 PM every October.

While the event typically offers frightful fun for horror enthusiasts, it appears that this year's experience didn't go smoothly for everyone.

How Charli D’Amelio's fan encounter injured Universal Studio worker

Charli D’Amelio, the second most-followed creator on TikTok, attended Halloween Horror Nights with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Landon Barker at the Universal Studios theme park in Hollywood.

Unfortunately, the evening took an unpleasant turn when a fan allegedly rushed into a ride in an attempt to take a photo with the popular TikToker.

A Universal Studios park worker who witnessed the incident shared their account on a YouTube video released by Philip DeFranco.

Philip James DeFranco is an American media host and YouTube personality. He is best known for The Philip DeFranco Show, a news commentary show centered on current events in politics and pop culture.

The worker revealed that they were "closing a heavy tram door for Charli’s group when a fan tried to run in and take a picture with her."

The worker's statement continued, describing the ordeal: "The doors swing down, so when I stopped/caught the door, the shocks pulled it back up, injuring my shoulder."

They recounted "yelping out in pain" and requesting Charli’s tour guide to close the door.

However, the guide allegedly told the kids, "Okay, 15 seconds for photos, then we’ve gotta go," causing further distress to the injured worker.

The worker was subsequently placed on modified duty for three days, and they expressed frustration at the incident.

They shared their sentiment that "influencers who have never had a ‘real’ job need to get a grip! Just because kids want to take a picture with you wherever you go does not make you better or more important than anyone else."

As of now, Charli D’Amelio has not issued a response regarding the situation. This incident adds to the recent controversies surrounding Charli D’Amelio, following her appearance in a Walmart cashier advertisement that drew criticism.

Charli and Dixie D'Amelio's Walmart video sparks debate online

TikTok sensations Charli and Dixie D'Amelio recently released a TikTok video to celebrate the launch of Be Happy Snacks, drawing a flurry of mixed reactions from viewers, with some branding the D'Amelio sisters as "out of touch."

In the video, Charli and Dixie can be seen working alongside real Walmart employees, restocking shelves, and scanning products at the checkout.

However, it remains unclear whether they genuinely spent a full day working at Walmart or if it was merely a pretend scenario while the cameras were filming. Nonetheless, they donned Walmart employee vests and name tags for the stunt.

While some viewers found the video humorous and light-hearted, others criticized Charli and Dixie for "cosplaying" as regular employees.

The D'Amelio sisters have faced mixed reactions on social media for the video, with some commending their marketing strategy and others accusing them of being disconnected from the experiences of everyday workers.
