Having second thoughts? Channing Tatum reportedly regrets 'jumping the gun' on the divorce with Jenna Dewan
Channing Tatum seems to be rethinking his decisions after he decided to split from Jenna Dewan. According to Radar Online, Channing does not like the idea of being single anymore. “At first, he was really pumped about getting his life on track and doing his own thing without her judging him all the time,” a source close to him told the website. “But he’s beginning to think he may have jumped the gun on the divorce.”
While it may look like Channing is enjoying the single life, the source insists that he is not. “The single life isn’t what it’s cracked up to be,” the source revealed. “He’s also noticing Jenna looks great. She’s more stunning to him than ever now and he knows guys must be lining up for dates.” Jenna has made many appearances ever since the pair announced their split and as hard as the split may seem, she is currently focusing on herself.
The couple took to Twitter on April 2 to announce their split in a joint statement. “Hey, world! So…We have something we would like to share," the statement read. "First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for."
The pair was keen to ensure that the sensitive issue did not become a topic for gossip and decided to clear the air about the reasons for their split aren't true. "We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into 'alternative facts'. So we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction," the statement continued.
The couple added that they now want to head their separate ways and want to be supportive of each other's decisions: "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together," the statement continued. "Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."
At the same time, Jenna and Channing added that they have decided to bring up their daughter, Everly Tatum together and make sure they are still a family. "There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other life the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly," read the statement. The couple requested everyone to give them their space while dealing with the split. "We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna," they concluded.
