Mark Ruffalo, Emma Watson, some well-known singers, and other Hollywood personalities have used social media to share their opinions on the conflict between Israel and Palestine that has dragged on for years, with many of them expressing support for Palestinians in the past. The current war, ignited by Hamas' attacks that started on October 7, is only a continuation of the conflict that has carried on for decades now.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa expressed her solidarity with Palestinians amid the 2021 Israeli offensive in Gaza, conveying her stance through various Twitter posts. She emphasized the urgency in an Instagram story, stating, "The ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people must come to an end. NO MORE!! This is a human rights issue!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!"

Gigi Hadid, who has Palestinian roots through her father, took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the conflict. The shared Instagram post conveyed a strong stance, stating, "My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy, and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict too many of which are children. I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it's a responsibility I hold daily."

Accompanying the image, the singer and actor penned a caption, urging for transformative action and change.

Accompanying the visuals, he posted a heartfelt Twitter caption affirming, "My heart and soul and my support for you Palestine."

Mark Ruffalo is among 40 actors who lent their support to a letter coordinated by Artists for Palestine UK, endorsing Emma Watson's Instagram post championing the cause of Palestinian rights. The letter conveyed collective agreement with Emma Watson's assertion expressing, "We join Emma Watson in support of the simple statement that 'solidarity is a verb', including meaningful solidarity with Palestinians struggling for their human rights under international law."

Zayn Malik

In the midst of Israel's bombardment of Gaza in 2014, the singer utilized his massive Twitter following to share the hashtag "#FreePalestine," amplifying his stance on the issue.

Mia Khalifa

Former adult film star, Mia Khalifa, was even fired from Playboy after her post on X. "Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal," read Khalifa's social media post. Lebanon-born Khalifa said: "I just wanna make sure there's 4k footage of my people breaking down the walls of the open air prison they've been forced out of their homes and into so we have good options for the history books that write about how they freed themselves from apartheid."
