Whenever we see a famous celeb in the news for a misdemeanor, it makes them more human. Capable of mistakes, you know?
However, that's not always the case! Some celebs just love getting into the weirdest situations, which subsequently results in them being arrested. Let's take a look at some of the most ridiculous crimes committed by celebs that lead to their arrest.
1. Justin Bieber: The egg-tosser
No list is a fair list if it doesn't start with the Biebs. Justin has had quite a few run-ins with the law which earned him that 'bad boy' reputation. Let's see. He was arrested in 2014 for tossing eggs at his neighbor's house which was all caught on camera. Stealth mode, Biebs. Learn a thing or two!
2. Shia LaBeouf: Forgetfulness is the key to trespassing
Shia has been a super-intense person that needs to chill out in life occasionally. But that wasn't the case when he was filming for Indiana Jones in 2007. The star decided to get a pack of smokes at Walgreens at two in the morning. But Shia was drunk enough to forget to actually BUY the ciggies! So he ended up heading back to Walgreens three times and ended up getting arrested when he refused to leave.
3. Hugh Grant: Getting it on with a prostitute in public
Hugh Grant made headlines when he was arrested for soliciting a prostitute in 1995. That's not the kicker. Hugh got arrested for soliciting a prostitute and carrying out the dirty deed in public! This was when he was dating Liz Hurley. Seriously, Hugh?
4. George Michael: I'll show you mine, you show me yours
The late singer George Micheal was arrested in Los Angeles for "lewd conduct" in 1998. His crime? Exposing himself to an undercover officer. The 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go' singer was literally lured to the loo by the officer, who then "started playing this game,” Michael explained later, “which I think is called, “I’ll show you mine, you show me yours." This was years before he came out of the closet, so it was a big deal.
5. Winona Ryder: The Saks thief
Winona was arrested in 2001 after she was caught shoplifting nearly $5,500 worth of stuff! She not only lifted clothes but also decided to swipe little tidbits as well. The whole ordeal was a huge embarrassment, but Winnie didn't even bother addressing it.
6. Edward Furlong: Free the lobsters!
Eddie boy has always been passionate about his animal rights activism. But the actor took it a step further when he got piss-drunk and decided to 'free' a tank of lobsters at a Kentucky grocery store in 2004. Let me paint you a picture of the scene the authorities were greeted to; A very drunk Furlong who was tossing lobsters all over the store and spinning in circles. Yep.
7. Ozzy Osbourne: Land of the brave, home of the pee
Oz has always been an eccentric old bat, but the Black Sabbath singer found himself locking heads with the law after he was caught urinating on the Alamo Cenotaph, dressed to the nines in his wife's dress. He was banned from the city in 2001 for the next 20 years because he bragged about his arrest. Of COURSE, he did!
8. DMX: I AM the law!
DMX decided to impersonate a federal agent after he was cut off. The rapper decided to take his road rage to a whole new level and flew through the gates of an airport to cut off the man who had cut HIM off. Then, DMX proceeded to threaten him with his fake connection to the authorities. He was later arrested for impersonating a federal agent. When the ACTUAL authorities showed up, they found drugs and a billy club, both illegal, in his car. So yeah, he was charged for that, too!
