Celebrity Boxing: Adult star Mary Carey and 'Pippi Longstocking' star Tami Erin to fight it out in the ring
Adult star Mary Carey and former child actress Tami Erin are the latest to get down and dirty in a fighting ring. TMZ reported that the two stunners will box it out at the Booby Trap, a strip club in Miami, on April 18. Carey had signed a contract with boxing promoter Damon Feldman last month and it looks like they've found her an opponent.
Carey shared a snap of the two with boxing gloves on Instagram and said with a reference to Erin's 1988 hit film, 'The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking', "I guess I have to box Pippi Longstocking! Fun fact: I was obsessed with the movie when I was 8 years old so this will be fun. I dressed up as her for Halloween multiple years. @celebrityboxing1".
Erin's acting career didn't really hit as hard as her breakout role and her adult life was riddled with controversies. In October 2013, Erin sold her sex tape named 'Tami Erin The SEX Tape' to an adult movie company after she couldn't stop her ex from realizing the movie and making money off of it. In the same year, she was involved in a hit-and-run and was charged with a DUI. The very next year, she was sentenced to enter an alcohol education program.
As for Carey, he gave up porn in 2007 and has been dabbling in dancing and making videos for her fans, who are interested in moving like her.
Carey's name is an addition to a list of celebrities like Ricky Gervais and Les Dennis, who have stepped into the fight ring. The fights are watched and streaming by millions online and it is quite the popular performance. The match between Carey and Erin will take place in South Florida, according to Celebrity Boxing's official Instagram handle.
