'CBS Mornings' host Vladimir Duthiers to return to show after months as hosts celebrate two-year anniversary

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'CBS Mornings' will cease to be a three person show this week as Vladimir Duthiers is set to return to the panel on Monday, September 11. 

The other three regular hosts, Gayle King, Nate Burleson and Tony Dokoupil, celebrated the second anniversary of the morning show on Thursday, September 7, and announced they were adding a fourth chair to the table soon. 

Duthiers has been away from the CBS show for months as he had been on paternity leave after his wife gave birth to their daughter.

King, along with Burleson and Dokoupil, celebrated their second year together as the hosts of the succesful morning show through a heartfelt Instagram post.

The post showed snippets of the three hosts, along with Duthiers, over the years that they have spent together as both colleagues and close friends. 

King's caption read, "A two year anniversary isn’t something you normally ring a bell about … but working with these two every morning only gets better and better!"

Her captions added, "@tonydokoupil, @nateburleson make @cbsmornings one of the best jobs in the world .. happy anniversary to US! Ps @vladduthierscbs on daddy leave but he returns MONDAY!"

In a short time, 'CBS Mornings' has been able to garner a huge dedicated viewership. 

The show bagged an Emmy Award in the News and Documentary category for Outstanding Live News Program in 2022, within a year of going on-air. This is just one of the many honors the show has received. 

Where was Valdimir Duthiers?

The fourth host of the CBS show, Duthiers, has been away from the studio for the past few weeks after his wife Marian Wang gave birth to their daughter, Celine.

The couple decided to travel along with their extended family.

As one of many newlyweds who lost a chance to have a proper wedding because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Duthiers and Wang also decided to take their family to their previously decided destination wedding locations.
