'A cautionary tale': Internet sees signs of abusive marriage in Ana Walshe's old FB post about broken shoulder
COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: As the investigation into missing Massachusetts mom Ana Walshe takes an ugly turn, with most circumstantial evidence pointing at the possibility of her husband, Brian Walshe, killing her and then dismembering her body, a 2016 Facebook post from Ana's account has triggered speculation that she had been a victim of abuse years before her disappearance. Ana was last reported seen in the early hours of January 1.
Brian Walshe, the husband of 39-year-old real estate agent and mother of three young sons, Ana, has been charged by prosecutors in connection with his wife's death. "The continued investigation has now allowed police to obtain an arrest warrant charging Brian Walshe with the murder of his wife," Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey reportedly said. Brian, 46, has pleaded not guilty to the charges of both murder and misleading an investigation and is being held without bail pending indictment.

As the investigation into Ana's disappearance continues, several revelations of Brian's past behavior have come to light. Previously convicted for trying to sell fake Andy Warhol paintings, Brian is reportedly a known sociopath, and many netizens believe that Ana had to endure abuse in what must have been a tumultuous relationship.
That is presumably why netizens have now begun to question how Ana hurt her shoulder in 2016 after a Valentine's Day post of hers surfaced online. In a romantic picture she posted with Brian on Facebook on February 14, 2016, Ana wrote, "It's been a year since I left my friends and colleagues in DC, left the Glorious Willard, moved to Boston, broke my shoulder (as a result of New England's welcoming Winter), started the new job, and new life. We have overcome many obstacles to be together over the course of the years.. It was all worth it because of where we are today. Lots of love for my Valentine!"
A screenshot of the Facebook post was posted on Reddit in the sub AnaWalshe, and has led several to question how the missing Massachusetts mom injured her shoulder.
"Did she really break her shoulder due to the weather," wrote one user, while another commented, "Winter 2015 was very, very snowy! So it’s possible it was the winter weather. But more possible it was him. His face makes me want to puke, even if I didn’t know what he did." "This is a cautionary tale, not to marry a**holes who threaten to kill just because they have money," wrote a third user.
