Catherine Zeta-Jones' 14-year-old lookalike daughter Carys shares the spotlight with her at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show
It's true that fashion runs in the family, especially if we're considering Catherine Zeta-Jones and her 14-year-old daughter Carys. The mother-daughter duo was recently spotted attending the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in New York on Sunday.
The lookalike pair attended Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda couture event together, wowing onlookers with their uncanny resemblance.
Carys Zeta Douglas, who is slated to turn 15 this month, wore black trousers with an off-the-shoulder black, white and floral top, while her mother opted for a black corset with lace sleeves and a sheer skirt for the evening. And to top it off, the duo wore identical black stilettos that worked like a charm.
The Welsh actress later posted a video of her and her daughter arriving at the event and walking up the stairs at the Metropolitan Opera House in the iconic Lincoln Centre. Even after their 34-year age difference, they looked like twins as they made their way to attend the event with Carys' father Michael Douglas and brother Dylan.
The two previously had been seen attending the Michael Kors spring 2018 fashion show together in September. And though Catherine did say that Carys and son Dylan both “inherently love” acting, looks like Carys may soon be headed for the modeling world given her front-row appearances at fashion shows recently.
An extremely proud and devoted mother, Catherine was heard speaking to E! News about her glorious daughter last September at another event. "She's strong and smart, has good morals and good judgment, which for a 14-year-old, you never quite know what you're gonna get."
Just last month, Catherine shared a snap of the four of them outside their cottage in Canada, recreating the picture 10 years ago. The first image showed the four of them on the doorstep, with Douglas holding his son’s leg while the second in the post was the happy family outside the house with the two little children beaming in arms.
The 48-year-old captioned her Instagram: “As time goes by! Outside our cottage in Canada,” with hearts at the end.
