Carrie Underwood gets matching tattoos with mother Carole and sisters during Vegas girls' day out: 'Never thought I’d see the day'
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: ‘American Idol’ star Carrie Underwood is bonding with her mother and sisters in Vegas and fans can’t get enough of it. As the ‘The Champion’ singer is in Vegas for her residency, she used the holiday weekend well as the 40-year-old star decided to get inked along with her mother and sisters.
Underwood, who has always been in a close-knit family, got inked during a girls’ day out in Las Vegas. The ‘Before He Cheats’ songstress shared an Instagram carousel along with the news of them getting their matching tattoos done. She wrote jubilantly, “When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, “what?” and “where?”” She further shared her astonishment at her mother’s excitement, writing, “I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink! 😂❤️ #WhatHappensInVegas.”

Underwood was in Sin City for her much-publicized residency as it went on from June 21 to July 1. Reflection, the Las Vegas residency of the seven-time Grammy winner, started from the Resorts World. While the residency is over as of now, it is expected that there will be more shows in September.
'I get final approval on what she talks about'
Carrie Underwood shares a wholesome relationship with her mother Carole. She invited Carole to be a part of her new SiriusXM radio channel show ‘Carrie’s Country' for a special segment dedicated to "Mama Carole," which will be called ‘Carole’s Corner’. However, the ‘Blown Away’ singer was not taking any risks as she knew the troubles of letting her mother have free reign - Carole might embarrass her live on air by sharing adorable stories from the singer’s childhood. Underwood said in an interview to Buzz Brainard, as reported by Hello! Magazine, "I get final approval on what she talks about, just in case!" before elaborating, "Because she will tell some stories about me growing up that maybe I don't want out there. I get to nix it, if I need to!"
About her preparation for the role, Underwood said, "I'm always making notes or thinking of other artists or other songs that I'm like, I really want this in there."

Songstress Maddie Font sounded inspired by the tattoo as she said, "Girl you are in your tattoo era! You’re making me want another! 🥰." Nutritionist Cara Clark gushed, "Mama Carole looks sooo happy! Love it. Delicate and sweet."
