Cardi B says she’ll have a ‘mental breakdown’ if she has to deal with Trump for another 4 years
Cardi B has said that if Donald Trump is re-elected in November, she is going to have a “mental breakdown”. The 27-year-old, who has endorsed the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, admitted that she cannot deal with Trump for another four years.
“If Trump goes for another four years, I am going to have a meltdown. I think I will have a mental breakdown. I cannot deal with this anymore,” Cardi told SiriusXM’s Swaggy Sie. She also showed her displeasure with the youth of America as she blamed them for Bernie Sanders’ drop out from the presidential race earlier this year. “You know how this new generation is. We be loving something, but we’re just too lazy to do it. Motherf**kers was just too lazy to vote,” the rapper said.
She continued: “I do be scared of the state of the country… I care about the people, and I am afraid of the future. I don’t want another war. The economy sucks. People are not making money. Some people are getting money and they’re not supposed to be getting money. This coronavirus s**t, I want it to be over.”
In another interview on SiriusXM’s ‘Sway in the Morning’, Cardi told host Sway Calloway that “Bernie did endorse Joe Biden, so that’s who the f**k I’m voting for.” Also when Calloway asked her about the 77-year-old probably choosing a Black woman to be his running mate in the 2020 election, the ‘I Like It’ singer responded, “I think that’s great; ain’t nobody keep it realer than a f**king Black woman. Ain’t nobody gonna tell it how it is or give ultimatums like a Black woman.”
In July, Cardi blamed POTUS for police brutality against Black people. "Every time I see a Black man killed or mistreated by police I just keep saying 'do nobody give a f**k, does nobody care?' And I've stopped saying that because nobody do care. Nobody cares. He don't care," she said while comparing Trump to his predecessor Barack Obama, claiming the 59-year-old former president used to release statements letting the people of America know how he feels about the police brutality and made it clear that he cares. Trump, on the other hand, "sees it and he don't give one s**t," she stated.
Continuing further, Cardi claimed that as long as Trump is in the White House, the country’s situation is not going to be better. "You know when a kid is bad and they get away with something then they gonna keep on doing it... That's what the cops are going to be doing. 'Oh I can get away with killing a Black man? I can get away with beating the s**t out of a Black man? Then we're going to keep doing it,'" she explained. Cardi ended her social media rant by urging her fans and followers to get themselves educated about the candidates running for the 2020 elections so that they can vote for the right one to replace Trump.
