Cardi B shares picture of swollen feet caused by cosmetic surgeries, says it forced her to cancel shows
The 26-year-old artiste had canceled some of her tour dates after experiencing complications after her recent breast augmentation and liposuction procedures
Cardi B shared a shocking picture of her swollen feet on Twitter on Saturday, revealing that every time the rapper flies her stomach and feet "burn" and become puffy and that this is the cause of her decision to cancel several shows.
The photo shows Cardi's swollen feet, which is a side effect of her cosmetic surgery procedures.
"Look how swollen my feet get every time I take flights my stomach gets even more puffy," she captioned the picture. "Reasons why my doctor told me to chill on shows cause my feet and stomach burn when I get puffed up NOT due to ticket sales," she pointed out.
The 26-year-old artiste had canceled some of her tour dates after experiencing complications after her recent breast augmentation and liposuction procedures, and she said that "health is wealth, so I have to do what I have to do".
"My breasts gotta f***ing heal, and it is what it is," the rapper wrote.
Previously, at the Beale Street Music Festival, she told fans that she should have canceled. "I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo. But b***h I’m still gonna get my motherf***ing money back, let’s go," Cardi said.
The rapper was also set to headline the Manchester festival this Sunday on June 9 but the festival confirmed that she will no longer be performing, before she took to the stage.
"As some of you will have seen, Cardi B was forced to cancel some performances in May. The Parklife team have just been notified that Cardi now also needs to pull out of Parklife this weekend," said a statement.
"As such, there will be some changes to the previously advertised line-up, stage splits and times. We are working on this currently."
"We are very sorry for the late notice but have only just had confirmation from Cardi’s team that she will not be able to perform. We all remain super excited for Parklife this weekend and cannot wait to see you in a completely transformed Heaton Park," the statement further read.
