Cardi B left onlookers stunned as she twerked for the crowd at Jay-Z's Eighth Annual Made In America Festival in Philadelphia on Saturday, August 31.
The 26-year-old singer wore a rainbow catsuit that accentuated her hourglass curves and flashed her cleavage with a keyhole detailing on the chest.
Showing off her dance repertoire, Cardi B squatted down, jiggled her way up before getting down on all fours whilst singing into her blinged-up microphone. The Bronx-raised singer gave it back to the haters on the opening track 'Get Up 10', out of Mill’s 'Dreams and Nightmares' intro in its rising-in-intensity full-force attack.
She brought her trademark flair and comic timing to the performance and narrated how she went from "nothin' to glory" declaring herself to be a "real b***h, the only thing fake is the boobs.”
Born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, the rapper was previously a stripper and paid her bills for three and a half years by working the pole at a gentlemen's clubs.
Going on a rant about haters, especially Travis Scott's ardent fans, who try to tear her down and call her a "Grammy win illegitimate," she said, "When I was a stripper with crooked teeth, n****s didn't give a f***. They used to fall in love with me. And b****es would be like, 'Oh my god, why her? She's a f***ing stripper. She's so ratchet.' Even when I got with [my husband] Offset."
"It's like what the f*** you mean, why her? B**** because I'm a motherf***ing vibe. Unforgettable, unexplainable. Like, I'm really like that homie that n****s like to talk to, laugh with, ca-ca-ca-ca-ca with good p***y. Y'all b****es be cute, but y'all just ain't that vibe," she added.
Married to 27-year-old Migos rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, aka Offset, she will celebrate her second wedding anniversary on September 30. The couple have a 13-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus.
The 'Love & Hip Hop: New York' alum is all set for her performance this Thursday at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Moreover, this is the first-time she will be seen in her big-screen debut as a stripper called Diamond in the movie 'Hustlers', which is set to release on September 13.
