Does Candace Owens wants to be a Supreme Court justice? After she started trending on Twitter on Wednesday, the conservative commentator wondered if America wanted her to be the next Supreme Court Justice. It is not clear if Owens was serious or mocking Joe Biden's "commitment" to nominate a Black woman as a Supreme Court justice to replace Justice Stephen Breyer.

The 32-year-old tweeted about why her name was mentioned multiple times on the social media platform as she wrote, "Am I really trending because America wants me to be the next Supreme Court justice? What an honor!"

Many took her tweet at face value and mocked her for being delusional. Believing that Candace was misled into thinking she's America's favorite to go to the Supreme Court, one pointed out, "You're not trending...not that I see. Also, "America" doesn't want you to be on the Supreme Court." Another reiterated, "No, you are not trending for that reason." A third said, "Candace is trending because she had a major meltdown over Minnie Mouse."

Someone mocked the talk show host, "College dropout says what? 'Am I really trending because America wants me to be the next Supreme Court justice? What an honor!'"

Another person added, "I'm aware that undergrad and law degrees are not required for SCOTUS and Congress. That doesn't make them unnecessary. Being well-educated HAS to be a baseline for these positions. In your case, you didn't finish the degree you started. That could speak volumes."

"Now all you have to do is graduate college, take the LSAT, get accepted to law school, go to law school, graduate law school, pass the bar exam, and become an attorney!!! Go for it, you've got a month or so!!!" said another.

Candace's tweet arrives as people are urging President Joe Biden to nominate a Black woman as a replacement to Justice Stephen Breyer, who plans to retire at the end of the current term. While the president has not named his choice yet, White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, "[The president] has stated and reiterated his commitment to nominating a Black woman to the Supreme Court and certainly stands by that."
