Conservative commentator Candace Owens lashed out at Meghan Markle during an interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity on Wednesday night, March 10, describing the Duchess as a 'liar' and a 'narcissist'. She said that Markle 'couldn't keep her stories straight' during her bombshell CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey.

"If you have seen a picture of Archie and you believe he suffered anti-black racism, then call me a Nigerian prince and give me your credit card," said Owens, who is of Caribbean American heritage. Prince Harry and Meghan's son, Archie, looks like the perfect mix of his parents, with Harry's dark red hair and rosy cheeks, and Meghan's unmistakable eyes.

In the interview with Winfrey, Markle had accused an unknown member of the Royal Family of being concerned about "how dark" Archie's skin tone would be when he was born. The Duchess had also claimed that Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed race.

"She [Meghan] said she doesn't read newspapers or check social media. That's not true because she then said that she was suicidal because of bad press," Owens said in her Fox interview. She added that Markle's insinuation that Archie, was not offered a title because of his skin tone was also untrue.

Owens mocked Markle for registering a complaint with the British broadcaster ITV because she was upset with comments made by 'Good Morning Britain' host Piers Morgan, who has recently been under fire for being 'racist'. Morgan, an outspoken critic of the Duchess, quit the breakfast program on Wednesday, March 10, after savaging Meghan Markle and Harry's two-hour sit down with Oprah Winfrey on March 9. He has refused to apologize for his opinion that the estranged royal couple had lied during their interview and had done untold damage to the British monarchy.

'If you believe Meghan Markle is a victim, you’re an idiot'

"Piers Morgan was all of us when he was dressing down Meghan Markle and calling her out on the lies she's told... To put in her phone call to have his voice silenced because she is unhappy with the press? She is a typical leftist narcissist," Owens said, adding that she agrees with Morgan's view that Meghan was lying.

"Why aren't we allowed to have an opinion anymore? It's dangerous," she said. Earlier in the day, Owens took to Twitter to lavish praise on Tucker Carlson, a critic of Markle, who described the Duchess as a 'manipulative opportunist' in a broadcast on Tuesday, March 9. "Tucker always nails it. If you believe Meghan Markle is a victim, you’re an idiot. There’s really no other way to say it,' she tweeted. "Bad press over bridesmaid dresses does not make you want to kill yourself and your unborn child unless you are: A) Unstable B) Lying for sympathy C) Both."

'It was her 9/11'

Tucker Carlson had mocked Meghan for bringing up a tearful row with Kate Middleton shortly before her wedding, over a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte. "She and her sister-in-law had a tiff about clothes. That's never happened before," he said, calling Markle "one of the most famous and fawned-over people in the world'.

He also said: "She thinks this is important to bring up in a television interview. It was her 9/11. So of course she considers it newsworthy." Carlson had also criticized other news networks for covering the interview and Markle so extensively and had joked about how Markle going to the gym was "treated like the moon landing".
