Caitlyn Jenner confirms she's single and not dating Sophia Hutchins: 'I don’t see myself having a relationship'
Caitlyn Jenner is single and she wants you to know it. The former Olympian and reality star opened up about her relationship status with Sophia Hutchins in a recent interview with OK! Magazine and maintained that they're just good friends.
"I'm very fortunate to have a great friend in Sophia,” Caitlyn reportedly said, speaking to the magazine, “We have a wonderful life and we do everything together. Everybody needs those people in their lives. She has her life and I have mine. We live here and we support each other. It's a great friendship.”
Speculations about their alleged romance have been circulating since the two moved in together in a Malibu home in 2017. Hutchins has always claimed that the two are not romantically involved and it is all platonic and now Caitlyn has also confirmed it.
In a New York Times profile, Hutchins had said, "We were never romantically involved" adding that she felt the romance rumors had flared up because they hadn't particularly talked about it. "I don’t feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to," she had said. Hutchins had also noted that she was seeing someone else, "a 30-year-old gentleman who graduated from Harvard and works on Wall Street."
Cait clearly feels the same way. She said that she's just not looking for a relationship. "To be honest with you, I don't see myself having a relationship with anybody in the future. It's not what I'm looking for. I've got so many other things in my life. On a scale of one to 10, that's a one. I've been married three times. I've been down that road. I'm 70 years old, I want to enjoy my life and I have great friends. I don't even think about it," she said in the interview.
