Caitlyn Jenner ends feud with Kris Jenner by sharing throwback photo, calls her 'special woman' on 64th birthday
The raging feud between Kris Jenner and her former husband-turned-transwoman Caitlyn Jenner seemed to have finally put to rest — for the time being — as the latter wished the mother of her children on her 64th birthday with a throwback Instagram snap of the couple.
Caitlyn, 70, took to Instagram to share an old photo of the couple where she could be seen with her arms around the momager at some party or get-together. Although it was unclear as to where the picture was taken, both of them could be seen smiling.
The former Olympic athlete also showered the birthday girl with high praise as she hailed her as a "special woman." "Happy birthday to this special woman! What an amazing mother and businesswoman you are. Love you!" she captioned the picture.
Even after Caitlyn came out as a transgender, Kris was seen supporting her transformation until the former's book titled, 'The Secrets of My Life', was published which delved into the seemingly unhappy marriage to her former wife, the final year of which she described as an "acrimonious misery." In the book, she made explosive revelations such as Kris making her feel "weak and inferior" which saw the duo have a public fallout.
Kris also denied having knowledge that her ex-husband wanted to become a woman during the years that she was married to him — a claim that was countered by Caitlyn during an interview on 'Piers Morgan: Life Stories.'
"I definitely told her," she insisted. "I even dressed up with her. I had been on hormones for four-and-a-half years."
When Piers added, "You had breasts," Caitlyn confirmed, "Yeah, and it was tough to hide that so I was honest to that point. I told her before I ever slept with her," adding that Kris will always have "special place" in her heart.
However, when the host pressed on, urging Caitlyn to divulge details about the conversation, she simply stated that she did not remember much of it.
"I don't remember," she said. "There's more to me than the eye may see. Honestly, I don't even remember the conversation, I just brought it up. It obviously happened."
