Caitlyn Jenner's ex-wife Linda Thompson says she cried as she lost virginity to Elvis Presley at 22
Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner's former wife Linda Thompson got candid on how she broke down in tears as she lost her virginity to Elvis Presley.
Thompson had dated the rock'n'roll legend for around four and a half years when she was a beauty pageant winner. Thompson, 69, had met Presley when she was only 22 and she developed a crush on him. She recalled that Presley was very respectful of sex and after two months of sharing a bed, Thompson was ready to go all the way with Presley.
As reported by Mirror, Thompson wrote, "We were in our king-sized bed on a pedestal, with a mirrored ceiling above us, reflecting Elvis and me tangled in loving entwinement of arms, legs, kisses and deeply felt intimacy. And let's just say if you're not ready then, you're never going to be ready in your whole entire lifetime".
"He was so sweet and tender with me, and yet I was overcome by emotion, and I began to cry softly. I believe I had attached so much significance to losing my virginity I needed to shed a few tears over the moment," she continued. She also recalled that Presley was a very old-fashioned guy who appreciated her innocence. "Elvis held me close, comforting me. 'Honey, don't cry,' he said. 'Please don't cry'," she recalled.
'In that moment, as in so many others, he was such a loving, kind, compassionate partner. That's why he got away with so much, I think now, with a knowing laugh, when I look back on our time together," Thompson revealed.
Before Thompson had married Caitlyn who was known as Bruce at the time, she had been Presley's girlfriend. She went on to have two children with Jenner: Brandon and Brody. Thompson opened up on their relationship in her autobiography 'A Little Thing Called Life'.
