Caitlyn Jenner reveals she fought Lex Luthor in The Fortress Of Solitude while auditioning for Superman

Caitlyn, who was then known as Bruce Jenner, lost out the part in the 1978 movie to late heartthrob Christopher Reeve
UPDATED JAN 31, 2019

Sometime last year, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she auditioned for the role of Superman, but unfortunately lost out the part in the 1978 film to heartthrob Christopher Reeve.

In an upcoming episode of 'Through The Keyhole', the reality star, who is also a panelist on the show, explained precisely what the audition entailed.

"Right after the [1976 Olympic] Games, I was asked to go to Rome and do a screen test for the original Superman [movie]," she said to Keith Lemon and her fellow panelists Craig Revel Horwood and Johnny Vegas in an exclusive clip from the show.

"I got the whole cape on, went back there, spent a week..." she continued. "I went to the ice crystal, had fights with Lex Luthor, did all that stuff. And then they found Christopher Reeve and he wound up doing it!"
