Cafe slammed for ad to hire staffer who 'doesn't cry, is never late, has no excuses'
A cafe became the subject of mockery and backlash after advertising vacant positions and insisting they were looking to hire staff members who didn't cry, were never late, and had "no excuses." A picture of the note was shared on Twitter, where it went viral and caused quite the uproar.

We also reported how Better.com CEO Vishal Garg fired 900 people during a Zoom call, and how the Art Institute of Chicago fired 150 employees to get rid of the 'wealthy White', as recommended by the Equity Project.

The aforementioned note, which had the branding for the popular juice chain Kreation, was shared to Twitter by user Jenson Titus on Monday, December 6, and garnered more than 35,000 likes. The full text under the company logo read, "Still looking for that special person. You know the one...Actually available, has an open schedule, doesn't cry, is never late, has no excuses, works hard, has no bulls**t, smiles no matter what. That one! Think you might be the one? We're hiring." Titus later tweeted that "they took the sign down lol."
The cafe was slammed on Twitter, with one likening the note to the "job requirement for a slave". "Literally walked away from my favorite breakfast spot and will never return after seeing a note remarkably similar to this on the front door, basically blaming the former/current staff for their decline in business. The lack of self awareness of some business owners is shocking," one tweeted.
"Why even bother having a walk-in cooler if you don’t want your employees crying in it? SMH," another quipped. "This gives the same energy as guys whose dating profiles are just a five paragraph essay about everything they hate about women," a comment read. "Am I crazy or did they just write a job requirement for a slave?" someone else added.

According to the company's website, the brand was set up in 2007 by Marjan Sarshar and has 19 locations across Los Angeles. However, it was unclear which branch carried the sign. Newsweek reported how the QR code at the bottom was linked to an HR portal that listed eight vacant positions for "barista/smoothie production" listed across California.
According to the report, the job pays at least $15 an hour plus tips and potential staff members are expected to "be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30 pounds up to 5 times per shift." The website adds, "Champions Kreation Service with energetic, friendly, and prompt greetings immediately upon making eye contact with guests. The ideal candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends, yet remain energetic, fun, and friendly." That said, the Kreation also has positions available for cooks, cashier/customer service, juicery manager aside from some production warehouse gigs.
