BTS become Louis Vuitton's global brand ambassadors, ARMY says they'll get 'McDonald's meal in LV outfit only'

With the announcement of BTS signing up with Louis Vuitton, ARMY all over the world are having a meltdown with too many 'thoughts.'

BTS went from announcing a menu with McDonald's to signing up with Louis Vuitton as their global brand ambassadors within a span of a week. The Grammy-nominated K-pop act is now partnered with four out of the ten biggest companies in the world including Samsung, Coca-Cola, McDonald's and now Louis Vuitton.

The luxury brand on April 23 announced, “Louis Vuitton looks forward to a new journey with BTS, who is recognized worldwide with various Billboard and Guinness World Records.” Virgil Abloh, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection, said, “I am delighted BTS are joining Louis Vuitton today. I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership, which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture. I can’t wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on.”

BTS signs with Louis Vuitton

 BTS is currently the largest music group in the world and with every new step, the Billboard Hot 100 topper only proves to show how the South Korean music group is truly reigning the global music scene. BTS also shared their excitement on signing up for their first luxury fashion deal with Louis Vuitton saying,  “Becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us.” Aside from their first luxury fashion partnership, BTS is an ambassador for Fila and Hyundai Motors, Samsung and more.

That BTS is an influential fashion force is no surprise with entire Reddit threads and Instagram accounts dedicated to their style. They were outfitted in Gucci for their “Dynamite” video and have sported everything from Dior to Saint Laurent in other appearances — this is the first time they are teaming up officially with a fashion house. The group did appear in a global campaign for FILA’s “Project 7” collection last winter.

Going to get BTS meal in 'Louis Vuitton'

With the announcement of BTS signing up with Louis Vuitton, ARMY all over the world are having a meltdown with too many 'thoughts.' From manifesting how they will go to McDonald's wearing a full LV outfit to what will happen when BTS V aka Kim Taehyung drops V-cut wearing Louis Vitton, it is truly a day to be 'wilding' for BTS fans. A fan quipped, "Armys pulling up in their hyundai to the mcdonalds drive thru to order somg mcnuggets and an oreo mcflurry with their samsung phone and samsung buds while wearing a full louis vuitton fit." Another Kim Taehyung V Cut enthusiast tweeted, "BTS X LOUIS VUITTON? You know what that means... Tae will post new louis vuitton photoshoot VCUT soon!!"

BTS ARMY has also brought back old pictures of BTS rocking Louis Vuitton. An ARMY shared, "BTS wore Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton in Paper magazine in 2019." Recently, the IFPI Global Artist of the year also wore Louis Vuitton for Grammys 2021. A fan page noted, "BTS are now house ambassadors of Louis Vuitton so we are bringing back Taehyung wearing the UNICEF x Louis Vuitton bracelet. The sales from the bracelet provide help to children in need. With every purchase donation will be made to help Syrian refugee children." Another fan commented, "Louis vuitton are so lucky to have bts and what makes it more insane is that bts as 7 became an ambassador for LV like imagine the money louis vuitton have paid to bts to convince them to be their ambassador as SEVEN !!"
