Jimin, who enjoys a massive fan following across the globe, was trending on Twitter over the weekend with the hashtag "Jiminandwho", which soon gave birth to speculations that Jimin might be dating the 25-year-old crooner, Hwasa.
The rumours apparently started when a random user on Twitter alleged that the publication Dispatch has confirmed the relationship between the two musicians. The tweet said, “CONFIRMED Dispatch couples that to be revealed. BTS Jimin & Mamamoo Hwasa. Apink member (?) & MONSTA X Shownu. NCT Jaehyun and (G)I-DLE Miyeon.” However, there was no link or evidence to confirm the same but that did not stop the social media users from talking about the gossip.
