MOSCOW, IDAHO: Internet sleuths have been wondering whether Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger has a relationship history. "Is anyone aware of BK having any kind of relationship history? I believe he had a Tinder profile. Yikes!" one user wrote on Reddit. However, MEAWW could not independently verify whether the suspect had an account on Tinder.

The 28-year-old was arrested more than 2,000 miles away from where the murders took place and agreed to be extradited to Idaho from Pennsylvania. His lawyer has said he is shocked at being arrested and is planning to deny the murders, according to reports.

Kohberger has been accused of stabbing to death University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, in an off-campus three-story rented home in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022. Authorities have said that the gory scene where the students were killed was the “worst they’ve ever seen." Kohberger, 28, was arrested in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, on Friday, December 30.

Speculating whether Kohberger may have been in relationships in the past, one user wrote, "He wasn’t unattractive but I wonder if he matched with anyone on the app and if so have they come forward to the police?" Another wrote, "I bet he could have "sold himself" pretty well... talk, dark hair, blue eyes, well-educated... probably a master manipulator too". "If he did have a romantic partner, they have not yet come to his defense. I doubt anyone would admit to it unless someone else gives them up," said one user.

"I feel like with his Education he could have been attractive to some women. Maybe he was socially inept," one user wrote, while another said, "I think some women would have been attracted to him, but maybe he was just so awkward and rude the possible romantic partners bowed out." One said, "He kinda reminds me of Ted Bundy (from the looks) Soo, I think someone must’ve thought he’s attractive."

A former classmate of Kohberger had earlier said the suspect could not take "no" for an answer from women he was interested in. “If he liked or was interested in a girl and she wasn’t, he didn’t understand why or just didn’t accept her saying no and move on and so he would have been labeled as a creep or something along those lines,” said Dominique Clark, who attended elementary and high school with Kohberger, according to New York Post

Kohberger was reportedly charged with four counts of murder in the first degree as well as felony burglary in connection with the deaths of the four students. Investigators have not publicly confirmed a motive for the murders. The suspect is a PhD student in Washington State University’s Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and is said to have lived just minutes from the scene of the crime.
