The new reports reveal that the cops have found possible animal hair strands, disposable gloves, and items with red and brown stains. An item which is the "collection of dark red" has also been recovered from the apartment, the New York Times reported, apart from a pillow with a reddish/brown stain. Investigators also collected receipts, mattress covers, and the dust container of a vacuum cleaner.

Bryan Kohberger, 28, is charged with killing four University of Idaho students Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20. The 28-year-old, Washington State University student was doing PhD in criminology, about 10 miles away from the murder scene.  According to the application for a search warrant, the rental home close to campus where the four victims were discovered dead in November had a substantial chunk of the victim's blood on it, “including spatter and castoff” blood, which results when blood scatters from a moving object.

They have not disclosed whether the tests have shown that the blood in Kohberger's apartment has matched that of the victims, despite claiming that any criminal or murderer would have blood splatter on the body or clothes from the scene, the court documents as seen by the outlet revealed. Reportedly, besides looking for blood the investigators also verified whether the hair of the victims or the dog had transferred with Kohberger. But, revealed that they have found a "possible animal strand" besides "several" other hair strands as per the Daily Mail

Besides a computer tower, the investigators also recovered a Fire TV stick during their search, with all of the items being stored at the Washington State University Police department. His offices at Washington State University were also searched, but nothing was reported to be seized. Kohberger, 28, appeared in court last week but has yet to enter a plea for the murders. On January 5, Kohberger was extradited to Idaho and the case affidavit made public detailed how Bryan Kohberger was linked with the murders while police started to develop the case without announcing the suspect for days. Even the crucial witness Dylan Mortensen's harrowing statement contained chilling details of how she saw the suspect walking past her while she heard someone crying and a male voice from another room before, who said "...everything is going to be ok." The suspect was described by Mortensen as having "busy eyebrows."
