While the novel coronavirus has the entire globe on a lockdown, Cardi B's latest rant on the growing health crisis has managed to serve up some light-hearted entertainment to those in quarantine.

A few days ago, she took to Instagram to share a short video in which she is seen expressing her concern over the pandemic. The video soon went viral owing to her signature style of delivering any message.

Making the best of the least ideal situation, Brooklyn-based DJ iMarkkeyz decided to remix Cardi B's words into a legit song and it is now trending on No. 37 on iTunes.

Meanwhile, the video has clocked over 700 thousand views on YouTube since it was first released. The one-minute-long video features Childish Gambino from 'This is America', Elmo from 'Sesame Street', Beyonce from one of her live performances and a couple more short clips.

Talking about the response his video has received and what inspired him to create this amid a pandemic, DJ iMarkkeys told The New York Times, "My first goal was for people to enjoy it. My other goal was to show Cardi that she has people who love her to death just by being herself. With all this happening, it shows the impact that Cardi has on everyone all across the world."

Meanwhile, DJ Snake also released his own remixed version of Cardi B’s clip, which has garnered over 1 million views on YouTube.

The remix has been making good profit by acquiring the top slot on the charts and one of the Twitter users suggested that the royalties could be used to support those who are facing financial crises from the coronavirus outbreak.

DJ iMarkkeyz responded to the tweet saying, "That was my goal." Meanwhile, Cardi B seconded him writing, "YES !THATS WHAT WE GOING TO DO!" She also tweeted. "Keep in mind you don’t get your money right away... but even months from now there would be families with financial issues for getting laid off due to the virus. We will Donate!"

The funny video starts off with Cardi B screaming, "Coronavirus! Coronavirus! I'm telling you, shit is real! Shit is getting real!" and briefly showcases how the remix was made, including the clinging sounds of a spoon.

People in isolation from across the globe are thanking Cardi B and the DJs for offering them the remix.

One fan wrote, "I had to come find the famous video they made a whole song off of That damn Cardi B." While another wrote, "Wonder if she knew this would become the greatest meme of 2020."

While in quarantine, Cardi B is also using her social media handles to spread awareness about the ongoing world crisis, besides regular updates on the political scenario in the US and Hanx, who have been tested positive for coronavirus in Australia.
