Britney Spears to address Sam Asghari split in new book, will talk about being a 'survivor' and staying 'positive'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears is not holding back in her recent memoir, but she is also not looking to bash her ex-husband Sam Asghari in her new memoir.
The pop star, who recently released her first memoir 'The Woman In Me' is working on a second book that will reveal why her marriage with Asghari failed and how she stays positive and strong as a survivor.
Britney Spears will not go after Sam Asghari in her new book
Us Weekly, citing a source, reported that, “Britney’s not looking to go after Sam. She just wants [to talk about] why the relationship broke down.”
The source also said that Spears is thrilled with the positive response to her first book.
“Britney’s on cloud nine over her book doing well,” a second source told the publication, adding that she “just grazed the surface" of what she wants to share with the world.
Spears released her first memoir, 'The Woman In Me' last week in which she gushed about Asghari, whom she met in 2016 on the set of her music video for Slumber Party and called him a "gift from god."
How did Sam Asghari react to Britney Spears’ book
Sam Asghari also reacted to her memoir wherein she called him a gift from god.
“That made me smile, to be honest,” the actor told Photographers on October, 25, People reported.
He added, “I’m freakin’ proud of her, and I hope she takes over the world.”
Even before the book came out, Sam was all praised for Spears saying, “I’ll be the first one in line to buy it,” reported TMZ.
However, Spears’ father, Jamie, who was the main target of her conservatorship battle, has no interest in reading her book.
“He’s not sweating what Britney has to say about him in her new book,” a source told TMZ, adding “She’s already trashed him both in court and on social media, once saying she hoped he’d spend the rest of his life in jail.”
Spears is expected to release her second book next year which will focus on "how she stays positive" and "being a survivor", according to Us Weekly.
