LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A day after deleting her Instagram account, Britney Spears dropped a 22-minute rant video on her official YouTube channel on Sunday, August 28, detailing the events of the last 15 years since her conservatorship first started.
In the clip, the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker, made a shocking revelation that during the period of her conservatorship, she planned to flee the US with her secret boyfriend. The 40-year-old, however, added that she backed out of the plan fearing that her father Jamie would lock her up or really hurt her if he found out. The YouTube upload was soon set on private by the singer and is no longer available to view.

Britney Spears, who recently made a comeback in the music sphere with the Elton John duet ‘Hold Me Closer’, as per The Daily Mail, said, “I was talking to a guy and he wanted to just leave the country with me. We had it all set up to just leave. And it was a secret relationship.” The singer added, “My biggest fear was what would my dad do? If I did do something wrong? What if I left the country? 'What and what if they found me and what would they do? And I said, I feel like they would lock me up or something or really hurt me.”
The award-winning crooner shared that she was told, “Britney, your dad would never do that.” For the unversed, it is unclear who Britney Spears was talking about as she did not reveal the identity of her boyfriend. Speaking of her lovers, Spears dated a number of men in the past. Following her split from husband Kevin Federline in 2006, the songstress dated photographer Adnan Ghalib in 2008 and it was the same year when her conservatorship began.
Britney Spears then dated her former manager Jason Tarwick between 2009 and 2013. The duo got engaged in 2011 before splitting. She then went on to date lawyer David Lucado for a year from 2013 to 2014. Spears reportedly also had a brief relationship with TV producer Charlie Ebersol. The Mississippi native tied the knot with Sam Asghari in 2022. She first met the handsome hunk on the set of her music video ‘Slumber Party’. Speaking of her now-deleted YouTube rant, the singer also accused her parents of abuse claiming that the controversial conservatorship was “all set up” by her parents after being introduced to the idea by an unidentified woman.
