LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jason Alexander, who was previously married to pop star Britney Spears for 55 hours in 2004, has remarried, 19 years after their brief marriage. Alexander, 41, said "I do" a second time nearly a year after interrupting the 'Toxic' singer's wedding to Sam Asghari.

Alexander and his new wife Rebecca Bell obtained a marriage license prior to getting married on Monday, March 27 in front of family and friends, according to documents obtained by Page Six. The announcement of the wedding also comes 11 months after Alexander crashed Spears' wedding to Asghari, 41, on June 2022. Alexander even assaulted a security guard which led to his conviction for trespassing and battery. He entered a not-guilty plea to the charges in Ventura County, California.

'How long does it take for someone to get out of abuse?'

Spears and Alexander, who were childhood friends, got married at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas at 4 am in 2004, but their marriage lasted just 55 hours before it was annulled. Later, Spears wed Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, and in 2007, she filed for divorce from the former dancer.

Alexander has continued to post about Spears following his own wedding to Bell. He re-posted an article about Spears being allegedly abused and wrote, "How long does it take for someone to get out of abuse? It's not worth it. The money. The status. Pleasing people."

'I swear Britney doesn't deserve all of this'

Alexander's Instagram post has prompted many fans to express concern for Spears' well-being. One fan commented, "I swear Britney doesn't deserve all of this. They ruined her; I hope she gets back on her feet and gets herself back; all the men who have been in her life were awful!!! She deserves better, maybe outside the US.

Another fan wrote, "Ur the only person I truly wish Britney would of been with happy ever after x I pray for her safety x ly jason." A fan wrote, "If she is alive... why all the AI’s and the stand ins? Hellywood is going to pay big time if anything happened to her!"

"Has the pap ambushed her since the conservatorship? No!!! My opinion says this is a big red flag. She is either being controlled or she's dead. Her enemies are not to be messed with. I pray she is alive," a fourth fan wrote.

"We all need to team up and get her the hell out of there. She is literally still a prisoner otherwise Jason would not be posting stuff like this. Open your eyes people! I don’t understand how some say she’s not free. Jason, can you please verify with me that she is in fact not free so they know? Thank you," another concerned fan wrote.
