Is Britney Spears dropping new music? Singer teases fans after long hiatus, slams family
It seems that the Queen of Pop is all set to be back with a bang as she teased new music in her latest Instagram video. Just months after her conservatorship was legally terminated, Britney Spears reminded fans of her stunning vocals and proved why she is still the best. The video, posted on the morning of Wednesday, December 22, shows Britney standing in front of her bathroom mirror and practicing an R&B style vocal note with high-pitched hits.
Though she did not say anything in the video, she decided to lash out at her family in the caption, where she wrote, "I just realized this today guys … after what my family tried to do to me three years ago … I needed to be my own cheerleader 🤷🏼♀️ !!!! God knows they weren’t." She further added, "I’m here to remind my white 'classy' family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me nor will I ever forget !!!!" However, it appears that she later deleted the caption. Meanwhile, her fiance Sam Asghari lauded her with a comment saying, "I fn love this soo much."

Fans are predicting that Britney is ready to make a stunning comeback in 2022, with the gift of new music. "Pssss new song in the works … I’m gonna let you know what I mean 😉 !!!!!" she wrote in the caption. While she is yet to confirm the same, there had been ample speculations and rumors around a new album brewing.
Meanwhile, Britney might also be planning to get pregnant, as she had been vividly expressing her wish to welcome another child. During her conservatorship, Britney alleged that she was forced to wear a contraceptive device thereby biologically preventing her from getting pregnant. The shocking claim caused quite an uproar, ultimately propelling the removal of her father Jamie Spears from the position of her conservator. However, fans do not have confirmation on the good news yet, as they are also wondering if she would be walking down the aisle anytime soon.
In her social media post, Britney also shared about her grand accomplishments, something she retrieved from a little Googling. She informed everyone that she has sold over 100 million records, 33 million albums and clocked billions of online streams of her songs. She mentioned this, in particular, to slam her family for their controversial decision to put her back in rehab in 2019. At the time, Britney was on the verge of starting her Vegas show, which got postponed due to her father's illness. According to TMZ reports, Britney has now told a few people close to her that she is interested in a music comeback.
