Britney Spears's former Beverly Hills mansion up for sale at $6.8M: Inside 7.5K sqft Italianate villa-style home
Britney Spears' gorgeous Beverly Hills mansion, which the 'Baby One More Time' hitmaker once called home, has hit the market for $6.8 million. The 38-year-old star had bought the property in 2007, located in The Summit, after her divorce from rapper Kevin Federline, with an expectation that she could find privacy in the gated-and-guarded community. Spears then sold the property in 2012, which was previously on the market in 2018 at $9 million but is now listed at a considerably lower price.
The venue of the house, The Summit, is popularly favored in the neighborhood by top echelons in the elite entertainment circle as they desire a paparazzi-proof location. The location of the house is peaceful where one can meet with their peers and their family pretty much distanced from curious onlookers. Previously, the abode has been the home to singers like Gwen Stefani, J-Lo, and Ariana Grande, as per TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.
After entering the house, one would be swept away by the ‘Old World’ vibe of the Italianate villa-style home. Indeed, it is very welcoming, warm, and boasts of modern interior. The massive house was built in 2001 and measures nearly 7,500 square feet with rooms that are large and airy so one can enjoy the blissful weather outside. The interiors of the mansion open into a magnificent foyer adorned with a big chandelier with glimpses of the second floor that overlooks the entry of the house. Moving in a few steps inside will reveal the wrought-iron banister leading up the staircase. It continues across the second-floor with an opening that looks like a space for a catwalk. It has spellbinding views over the main living room with its majestic fireplace.
The area looks like a piece of art with crisp, white and bright clerestory windows exuding even more brightness. The area is best suited for art, antiques and planting potted trees. To add more luxury to the estate, there is an exquisite dining room and chef’s kitchen that opens to a large family room. It further leads to a pool deck and thick privacy hedges. One can savor breakfast early morning at the cheerful breakfast nook with built-in seating that is enclosed by windows on three sides. Coming to the bedrooms and baths, the house boasts of six bedrooms and seven baths including a master suite with its own private balcony. The interiors have an opulent bath and large paneled walk-in dressing room/closet to try out clothes. For professional and entertainment endeavors, there is also an office, a media room, and multiple entertaining venues in the mansion.
