Britney Spears announces MISCARRIAGE early in pregnancy, fans say 'she goes through so much'

About a month ago, Spears had announced in an Instagram post that she was pregnant with Sam Asghari's baby

Britney Spears has announced that she lost her baby in a miscarriage early in her pregnancy. In a joint statement, the 40-year-old singer, along with fiancé Sam Asghari, said on social media that they have lost their "miracle baby".

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the statement reads. "This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”

In a social media post on April 11, Spears wrote that she took a pregnancy test after her partner, Sam Asghari, teased her about being "food pregnant". Spears and Asghari, who met in 2016, got engaged in September last year. Spears has two children, Sean and Jayden, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. This was going to be her first child with Asghari.

"I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back … I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???” My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly !!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby … 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it … I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have … it’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible … women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret … This time I will be doing yoga every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love !!!" Spears had written on Instagram.

Spears' pregnancy came months after she regained her independence from a conservatorship that her father controlled for years. During the court hearings that led to the decision, she had said that she had to remain on birth control against her wishes. “I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” she told the court last year. “I was told right now in the conservatorship I am not able to get married or have a baby.” Spears' post on her pregnancy had also renewed speculation about whether she married Asghari or not, since she referred to Asghari as her 'husband' in the post.

Social media is devastated by the news of Spears' miscarriage. "I will not allow any Britney Spears slandering today. Leave the woman alone, she lost her baby for crying out loud," one user wrote on Twitter. "i’m so sad for britney now… she goes through so much. she just deserves the best," wrote another.

While one user wrote, "Sending Britney and Sam as much love as possible right now", another said, "Britney Spears deserves a f**king break from all the pain in the world." "Britney has been through so much. None of it’s fair," one user commented.
