LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bridget Fonda announced that she is done with Hollywood and has no plan to make a comeback after bidding acting adieu two decades ago. The 59-year-old star, who made her mark on the acting world throughout the '80s and '90s, talked about her plans as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport with her son on Monday, April 17.

The ‘Jackie Brown’ star looked nearly unrecognizable as she ditched her former Hollywood glam and kept her look casual in a striped grey top and black pants. As Fonda arrived at the airport, she was bombarded with questions about her future plans in the showbiz industry. In a video obtained by Daily Mail, the mother of one is seen replying with a ‘no’ when a photographer asked if she wanted to make a comeback into Hollywood. The person then questioned if there is any chance that she might but Fonda once again replied in the negative, adding, 'I don't think so, it's too nice being a civilian.'

In the end, when the photographer asked if any director in the world could potentially change her mind, Fonda, once again replied, 'no’, according to Daily Mail. The star then rushed into her black car as she was joined by her 18-year-old son Oliver Elfman, whom she shares with her husband Danny Elfman, 69. Oliver sported a navy t-shirt, plaid pants, and a black backpack. Fonda’s latest airport trip came after she was seen running errands in Los Angeles on Friday, April 14. Prior to that, she was spotted out in September 2022 while visiting a store that sold landscaping supplies.

The family has reportedly been residing on a ranch in Santa Barbara since Fonda decided to step out of the spotlight to focus on raising her son, who was born in January 2005. Fonda is undoubtedly one of the most influential ‘90s actresses, who began acting at the young age of four in the 1969 movie ‘Easy Rider’. She then carved an indelible niche for herself in tinsel town with magnificent on-screen performances in a number of box office hits. She famously starred as fear-plagued protagonist Allison 'Allie' Jones in the classic 1992 thriller ‘Single White Female’.

Her other big acting credit include ‘Scandal’, ‘You Can't Hurry Love’, ‘The Godfather III’ (alongside Al Pacino and Diane Keaton), and the TV movie ‘Snow Queen’. However, Fonda left many fans heartbroken in 2002 when she decided to end her acting career in order to start a family with her husband, Danny. The couple relocated to the Santa Barbara ranch in 2020 after selling their two nearby residences in Los Angeles for a total sum of $14.6 million. They had originally just planned on living there for a month during the lockdown, but in the end, they decided to make it their permanent residence.
