Why Brian Austin Green cropped son from photo? Megan Fox slams 'intoxicated' ex for making her 'absent mother'
After Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green separated in May following 10 years of marriage, the latter had revealed that things were “going as well as it can” when it came to co-parenting their three children Noah, Bodhi and Journey, while speaking on a Hollywood Raw podcast. However, it seems like the ‘Transformers’ actress was quite irked with her former husband after he shared a picture with one of their sons, Journey, wishing his followers a Happy Halloween.
Earlier today, November 1, Green shared a picture of himself with Journey on Instagram. The picture shared from their Malibu house shows the father-son duo clad in their Halloween costume. While Green is evidently posing for the picture, Journey is seen standing by his side, wearing a Spiderman costume.
Soon after this picture was shared on Green’s personal Instagram account, Fox shared a long comment, calling her ex-husband out for “using” their children to “posture” via social media. Her comment began with, “Why does Journey have to be in the picture?”
She has stated further, “It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in. I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from social media. I know you love your kids, But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram. You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.”
“You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”, she wrote.
Without responding publicly to Fox’s comment, Green simply took the original picture down and later re-shared the same picture with Journey cropped out of the frame. He captioned the second picture, “Hope you all had a happy Halloween!!!”
However, a lot of fans had already taken notice of Green’s first picture before he took it down and were aware of what made him do so too. The majority of Green’s fans have expressed that he didn’t do anything wrong by sharing a picture with his own son and even slammed Fox for calling him out publicly for the same.
One commented, “Since when is it a sin to post a picture with YOUR child. When they are in your care you should be allowed to take pictures of them with you and be able to share to the world. You are a proud father and have every right to show the world! I would put the picture back up!” Another said, “Just an observation, I didn’t see the first pic as posturing or whatever it was implied. Just a happy Halloween pic. Also publicly dissing you seems worse than an innocent photo when there’s a phone or dm. Hang in there. Happy Halloween.”
Fox and Green separated after the actress’ relationship with musician Machine Gun Kelly went public. The singer revealed he was dating her after her appearance in his latest song ‘Blood Valentine’.
