Is Bret Michaels OK? Singer HOSPITALIZED just before hitting stage with band Poison

The band members might have addressed the unfortunate news of Bret Michaels getting hospitalized but they did not spill the reason behind it

Singer Bret Michaels, who is best known as the frontman of the band Poison, was rushed to the hospital right before hitting the stage with his band on Thursday, June 30. The incident took place at their concert in Nashville. The members of the band Poison then took over the stage to announce the sad news.
 
Social media users then rushed to Twitter to wish Bret Michaels a speedy recovery. The band members might have addressed the unfortunate news of Bret Michaels getting hospitalized but they did not spill the reason behind it. This led to the Internet assuming what happened to the rock musician where many said it might have happened due to him being diabetic. Singers namely Joshua Bassett, Hyuna, Vince Neil, and others were recently hospitalized due to different reasons.

Is Bret Michaels OK?

According to TMZ, Bret Michaels was taken to the hospital after he may have reacted to a medication related to COVID. It is rumored that the medication might have triggered a reaction as a result of his diabetes. The rest of the band members of Poison apologized to the live audience for canceling their set. The rock band was performing at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium when the unfortunate incident took place.
 
Poison is currently part of Motley Crue and Def Leppard’s ‘The Stadium Tour’. They landed on stage with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Classless Act. It is not clear for how long Michaels will be sidelined the tour will continue as per the schedule with the next concerts coming up in Florida and Mississippi. There has been no update on the social media accounts of Bret Michaels. MEAWW will keep you posted. Bret Michaels with his band has sold over 50 million albums and is best known for their number-one single, ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn.’ 



 

‘He has had multiple health problems’

“I just photographed him out at Citi Field last Friday. He looked healthy and was in good spirits. I’m really sad to hear this”, said one user while reacting to the news. Another posted, “Oh Wow …. Praying for healing and whatever is necessary to make things better!” One user shared, “He is a diabetic so it's possible it has something to do with that.”
 
The next one tweeted, “Ok we get it! They did too many drugs and drank alcohol for all their famous life.” Meanwhile, another added, “He has had multiple health problems and has been on his death bed in the past. It's sickening to see people bitching and moaning that he could not perform.” And, another fan concluded, “Sending prayers and positive thoughts to @bretmichaels.  Hoping everything is under control soon.”
