Is Jessica Alves OK? Influencer shocks fans with bruised face after surgery to get 'Bella Hadid' eyes
On Monday, July 18, Jessica Alves, 38, made her first public appearance with bruised and swollen eyes as she recovers from her latest cosmetic procedure, according to a Daily Mail report. Jessica’s latest public appearance comes after she traveled to Azerbaijan for having her eye surgeries done, which she claims have given her the same almond-shaped eyes as supermodel Bella Hadid. During her most recent public appearance, the Brazilian TV personality, who was formerly known as Rodrigo before undergoing gender reassignment surgery, displayed pronounced swelling and discolored skin around both eyes. Greeting onlookers outside her hotel in Azerbaijan's capital city Baku, Jessica looked visibly tired while removing her sunglasses fully exposing her swollen eyes.
Earlier, Jessica, who dubbed herself a ‘plastic surgery addict’ and has spent more than $1M on more than 91 procedures over the last 20 years, flew to Baku to see plastic surgeon Dr Mubariz Mammadli in order to have an endoscopic mid-facelift and body contouring liposuction with Bodytite done. The former housemate of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ recently posted a picture of the results of her facelift to her 6.2 million followers on Instagram Stories.

Jessica also told in a recent interview with Mail Online, “I have had over 90 plastic surgeries in the past 20 years and most people see me as plastic surgery-addicted. But the reality is that I am a biological male who is now a female, therefore surgeries were required for me to be the person that I am today. I am very strong and determined and I do whatever it takes to make myself happy. There is no better feeling to me than getting up in the morning and looking at the mirror and seeing this woman that I became with the help of forward-thinking and innovative surgeons around the world.”
The transgender influencer went on to say, “I am turning 39 next week so I gifted myself a body contouring lipo with Bodytite and an endoscopy mid-facelift. Dr. Mubariz performed the innovative procedure that will keep my face fresh and looking the same for At least 15 years. I spend hours researching good surgeons with unique aesthetic procedures and in this case, I flew from London to Baku. I have been following Dr. Mubariz on social media for the past three years but due to the pandemic, I couldn’t fly to Baku for the surgery. I have been on a waiting list to have the endoscopy facelift for over a year and now, a week just before my birthday, I was able to have the procedure done.”
