Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are two of the biggest global superstars and thanks to their extensive filmography and good looks, comparison between the two has sort of become a routine. The same happened when a random Twitter user created a poll over the weekend asking social media users who is better between the two.
 
Since both Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise enjoy a massive fan following at home and abroad, the debate led to chaos on the micro-blogging site as the fans clashed over who is the best. While many drooled over the Greek-God looks of Brad Pitt, others could not get enough of how cute Tom Cruise was. Many on Twitter also clashed over who was a star and who was an actor between the two Hollywood biggies.

Brad Pitt vs Tom Cruise

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have made their own path to the top by picking movies they always believed in. While Pitt went for thrillers, Cruise took the action-packed route and it, of course, went well for both the stars. Pitt may have bagged more awards in his kitty but Cruise surely knows how to rake in moolah at the domestic and international box office.
 
Brad Pitt became one of Hollywood’s biggest stars with his movies like ‘Ocean's Eleven’, and its sequels 'Ocean's Twelve’ and ‘Ocean's Thirteen’, ‘Seven’, ‘Troy’, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’, ‘World War Z’, and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ among many others. Cruise, on the other hand, claimed the throne with his projects like ‘Risky Business’, ‘Top Gun’, ‘The Color of Money’, ‘Rain Man’, ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise, The Mummy’ and the latest ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ among many others.
 
While the ardent movie lovers always want them to share screen space, they did work together in the 1994 flick called ‘Interview with the Vampire’. The two had their differences. In an interview with Premiere magazine in 1995, Pitt stated, “You gotta understand, Tom and I are… we walk in different directions. He’s North Pole. I’m South. He’s coming at you with a handshake, where I may bump into you, I may not, you know?” He then shed light on the tension and an unspoken rivalry between the two stars saying, “I always thought there was this underlying competition that got in the way of any real conversation,” further adding, “It wasn’t nasty by any means, not at all. But it was just there and it bugged me a bit. But I’ll tell you, he catches a lot of s**t because he’s on top, but he’s a good actor and he advances in the film. He did it. I mean, you have to respect that.”

The fans of both the stars rushed to Twitter to share their valuable opinion as one of the users said, “Y'all really gonna ask Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise? Brad Pitt is an amazing actor. Tom Cruise plays the same character over and over again. Brad Pitt realized he had problems and got sober. Tom Cruise refuses to recognize the atrocities of Scientology. Also this.”

Another said, “You're joking right?  I'm convinced Tom Cruise is aiming for "top alien" in a giant cult doing irreversible damage to people all over the planet. Scientology. While Brad Pitt is a multifaceted actor, fellow person in recovery and let's be honest...beautifully handsome.” Another chimed in, “Brad Pitt is beautiful. Tom is kinda cute.”
 
The next one shared, “Brad Pitt is a REAL actor while Tom Cruise has a Sociopath for a best friend. Sociology is BEYOND CREEPY--sit in downtown Clearwater FL & watch the little "worker ants" dressed in what looks like old band uniforms scuttle back & forth to their classes...CREEPY!”

Another mentioned, “You know what Brad Pitt has that Tom Cruise doesn’t? A sense of humor.” One user said, “Brad Pitt. Actor vs. movie star again.  Brad started out a movie star and became a very good actor (just watch "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood") and Tom has and always will be a movie star. Plus Tom is a Scientologist and his interviews on the subject are just plain weird.”

Another concluded, “The only choice IMO is Brad Pitt, a multi-faceted actor. Tom Couldn't act his way out of a bag-he is always just Tom Cruise in every role. I stopped watching his movies a while ago.”
