What are Bobby Shmurda’s parole conditions?

Shmurda needs to follow a few special parole conditions before he gets free in the true sense. According to TMZ, the rapper cannot consume alcohol, associate with gangs or spend time at bars. Apart from this, the Florida native also cannot violate an 8 pm curfew. He has to submit to substance abuse testing and is required to get aggression and anger counseling as well. Why did Bobby Shmurda go to jail?

Bobby Shmurda pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy in September 2016 along with one count of weapons possession. The rapper, who was doing very well in his career at that point in time, was sentenced to seven years in prison. He had also smuggled a prison shiv, which added another four years to his sentence. Shmurda was first supposed to get out of jail on December 11, 2020, but his parole was denied and was ordered to serve the full sentence and be released on December 11, 2021. However, after a review by the Department of Corrections, Shmurda was released 10 months earlier than expected on February 23, 2021, under supervision from fellow community members in Kings County, New York.

Only had 10 months left, now he got 6 years on parole.” One seemed irritated and said, “I don’t understand how Bobby Shmurda got a 7 year sentence, served 6 but he’s on parole until 2026?
