He's even stared in movies such as 'I, Tonya' and even in 'The Irishman,' directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese. Now, Cannavale is all set to be a part of a new Netflix docuseries, along with the likes of Tiffany Haddish, Edie Falco, Jane Lynch and Marcia Gay Harden, where he'll break down the world of finance in 'Money, Explained.' Bobby Cannavale life and career

Born in Union City, New Jersey, Cannavale's parents were Isabel and Salvatore Cannavale. His father was Italian and his mother was Cuban. Cannavale was raised catholic and attended St Michael's Catholic School.

He was a regular when it came to extracurricular activities and soon found his passion for acting. After his parents divorced, he moved to Puerto Rico with his mother. The family moved back to Florida within two years. Cannavale began his career in theater, although he had no prior acting training.

He went on to star in shows such as 'Third Watch,' 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Vinyl,' 'Will & Grace,' 'Mr. Robot,' and 'Master of None.' Cannavale has won two Emmys for his role as Officer Vincent 'Vince' D'Angelo in 'Will & Grace,' where he won the award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. He also won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Gyp Rossetti in HBO's 'Broadwalk Empire.'

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Cannavale's is an estimated $10 million. He, along with his partner, Rose Byrne, bought a plush townhouse for $2.2 million back in 2015. The home is located in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood and features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a guest apartment, and a master bedroom that even has a fireplace.

The home was built in 1899 and has quite a unique look and feel, as explained by Frederick Tang of Frederick Tang Architecture, while talking to Vogue. "The home is part of a series of matching Italianate-style brick row houses built in 1899. [It sits] on a one-block-long street in Boerum Hill known for its row houses, each painted a different color," Tang explained, seeing that the couple embraced the unique look and colour.

"Bobby and Rose wanted it to feel light and airy, open and modern, but still retain the historic charms of this turn-of-the-century townhouse,” he added. 


 

Married life

Cannavale was married to actress and screenwriter Jenny Lumet in 1994. She was the daughter of late producer, writer and director Sidney Lumet. The pair had their son, Jake, in 1995 and eventually split in 2003.

After this, Cannavale dating Annabella Sciorra and Sutton Foster. However, neither relationship lasted. He eventually went on to date Australian actress Rose Byrne after they met on the sets of 'Annie.' Although the pair remains unmarried, they are together and even have two sons -- Rocco, who was born in 2016 and Rafa who was born in 2017.
