Bobby Brown's son Bobby Jr had taken to social media to post about depression and struggling in quarantine only weeks before his sudden passing. The 28-year-old Bobby Jr was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, November 18, after authorities were called to a "medical emergency". In the weeks leading up to his death, Bobby Jr. shared many tweets and social media posts about mental health.

Last month he had posted, "These 'influencers' be getting so caught up in social media man s**t be OD. Don’t end up depressed trying to be an influencer. Or a TikTok 'star'." Back in May, he had shared, "I can’t do this quarantine sh*t. It’s day 08373930847399 and I’m at the point of literally going for walks... Bruh since when tf do I wanna 'go for a walk'." In September he had taken to Twitter to retweet, "Depression is a real thing."

Only days before he died, Bobby Jr was seen cozying up to his girlfriend Anna Reed in a series of sweet pictures that he had shared on Twitter. A day before his death, his girlfriend Anna had shared a very cryptic post and said, "Overdose is a lesson, if you ain’t learn then you lethal."

The news of Bobby Jr's death was broken by TMZ who reported that while police are still at Brown’s LA-area home, foul play is not suspected. No official cause of death has been revealed yet. Reports say officers with the Los Angeles Police Department rushed to a "medical emergency" at the home in Encino, California at 1:50 pm on Wednesday, November 18.

Bobby Jr's mother Kim Ward had dated his father for around 11 years on and off until he started seeing Whitney Houston. The 28-year-old was one of Bobby Sr's seven children and is the second child that the R&B singer has lost after the death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who was found unconscious in a bathtub in 2015 at the age of 22.

Bobbi had passed away due to drowning and had high levels of cocaine and alcohol in her bloodstream. She was in a coma for many months and was kept on life support before she died. Bobbi died in an eerily similar way to her mother Whitney Houston.

Houston had also been found dead from an accidental overdose in her bathtub, three years before Bobbi's incident. After Houston's death, Bobbi had become romantically involved with Nick Gordon a man who her late mother had taken in and raised at age 12.

Even though the two grew up together, the family did not approve of Bobbi's relationship and when she died, a civil case was charged against Gordon. The civil case blamed him for the drug intoxication. According to CNN, he was ordered to pay $36 million dollars to Bobbi's estate.

Bobby, 51, has had seven children from his relationship with four different women. The singer's oldest child, Landon, was born in 1986 to Melika Williams. After his separation from Williams, he had two children — daughter La’Princia and son Bobby Jr. — with Kim Ward.

He later went on to have a famous relationship with legendary singer Whitney Houston, and the pair had a daughter together - Bobbi Kristina. After Bobby separated from Whitney, he had three more children with Alicia Etheredge, with his youngest child, daughter Hendrix, born in 2016. His first child with Etheredge, son Cassius, was born in 2009, and daughter Bodhi in 2016.
