Johnathan Jamall Michael Porter, professionally known as Blueface, has been accused of running a sex cult after a video went viral on the internet showing women living in his home and getting his logo tattoed. The clip was posted on Sunday, April 25, on Twitter by a user called @HOLLYWOOD2TIME, which showed the rapper walking inside the house with women sleeping in bunk beds and clothes thrown on the floor.

Blueface was also heard saying in the video, “We’re getting tattoos today,” as the camera pans towards women present in the house. The clip then showed one of the women being inked with a portrait of his face on her neck. He also seemed to be warning the women that they needed to get a tattoo of his logo (blue Benjamin Franklin face) or they would be thrown out of the house.

The caption of the video posted by @HOLLYWOOD2TIME read, “This nigha blueface got all these hoes staying in his crib like he blue hefner." A person reacting to the clip stated, “It’s not funny at all. That’s a huge red flag right there. The girls need to leave, but can they?” The second person wrote, “Ppl so stuck on the fact that the girls are consenting. But I'm more afraid that he really searched for these young girls, that most likely need help and taking advantage of them. Y'all must realize privilege and sense ain't common, and predators see that. Check on y'all ppl.”

Some even went on to compare Blueface with R Kelly, who has been accused of kidnapping, forced labor, numerous sexual assaults and housing women in a Georgia home. One Twitter user posted, “The last thing you wanna be is trending w/ R Kelly.” Another said, “I'm getting R kelly vibes from this.” A person on the social media platform also shared a screenshot of an Instagram Story by one of the women affiliated with Blueface. That person defended the ‘Find the Beat’ singer by saying, “They are all grown and responsible for their own actions, they chose to go on their own accord. aint no checkin up on nothing and it’s not the same situation as with R.Kelly.”

But people slammed that defense as one comment read, “This screenshot gives me the impression that he went out and found vulnerable young women who are excited by a trip to Walmart and seeing a dentist in exchange for much more. Ultimately everyone does have will power but their vulnerability makes them more susceptible to abuse.” Another comment added, “Hell, it may be worse than R Kelly. This is grooming & cult like behavior. He basically took a harem on a field trip, that’s not the defense she seems to think it is. They just happen to be of age.”

After facing such a huge backlash, Blueface decided to take matters into his own hands as he responded by tweeting, “Wtf is a cult?” In another tweet, he explained, “For those who are curious my show is a 3 week series I move women in from all over the US fly them out to cali put them under one roof I own 2 homes I don’t stay there I take care of all there financial needs while they are here i promote there brands etc we film all day tune in."

He continued, "We don’t tolerate any sexual conduct between men and women so the women do tend to grow interest in each other because of this but they are adults at the end of the day it’s only so much I can control so what they do with each other is apart of the show subscribe rn to see more. Season 2 is wrapping up if you are interested in being a contestant on season 3 follow my Instagram @bluefasebleedem to see when Auditions start.”
