Beyoncé and her 8-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, recently escaped to the East Coast to enjoy some quality time together while boating in the Hamptons. As soon as the pictures of the mother-daughter duo made their way on social media, people pointed out that Ivy is growing as tall as her mother. The winner of 24 Grammies caught the paparazzi's eyes on Thursday, September 17, as she donned a black hoodie and matching sweatpants while she was spotted returning to their Manhattan house with her daughter after spending the day together. Ivy rocked some long braids and a denim jacket with an apricot-coloured bottom.

Ivy was born on January 7, 2012, to Beyoncé and Jay-Z in New York. She became the youngest winner of a Black Entertainment Television Award this year at the age of eight for her collaboration in 'Brown Skin Girl' with her mother Beyoncé, WizKid and Saint Jhn. She has also won an National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Award for the same song. 

As soon as the pictures of Beyoncé and her daughter went viral, people started reacting to it. One fan commented, "Either Beyonce's shorter than I thought or Blue Ivy is tall as hell. Lol" and another one pointed at their height and said, "i know that’s not little blue ivy.... she gets taller every time i see her bruh she’s about to pass up her mama and beyoncé is already a tall b**ch"

While another one questioned the fans and said, "Why are people surprised that Blue Ivy is tall? Beyoncé is 5’7, Jay Z’s 6’2 and Mathew Knowles is 6’5. Like what did you expect?"

In an earlier video Ivy was heard asking her mom to be silent, as one user shared the video and said, "imagine having the power to do this to beyoncé..." Another fan reacted to the video and said, "The new Supreme has risen. Her name is Blue Ivy."

"Beyoncé run the world, but Miss Blue Ivy clearly runs the Carter household," said another Netizen. While one joked and said, "I may be jumping the gun here but.... pretty sure Blue Ivy is our future president."

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, along with their children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir were snapped by paparazzi when they were vacationing for Beyonce's 39th birthday on a yacht on September 4. "The Carters celebrated Beyoncé's birthday with a sailing trip on the Adriatic Sea along the coast of Croatia. They spent most of their time on the superyacht," an insider told E! News.
