Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have slowly emerged as America's sweethearts as the relationship between the country boy and Californian girl has only grown stronger over the years. So naturally, impatient fans have begun asking when the pair will be tying the knot. We might finally have an answer to that!

A contestant on the 'The Voice' - a talent hunt show in which both Gwen, 50, and Blake, 43, serve as judges - dished to US Weekly during this season's Top 11 Artists live screening and red carpet in Los Angeles on Monday, November 25 that there were definite signs that a marriage proposal was imminent.

“Let me tell you something: it’s coming. They had a moment,” contestant Rose Short said. Elaborating on the special moment that made her believe that the love birds were going to get hitched soon, Short said that she was the only one who witnessed it.

“We were backstage getting ready and she was getting her makeup done. He stopped and it was like — so much going on that nobody saw it but me — but he was standing there and he looked at her like he was so proud. So it’s gonna happen," she said.

Short further added that she had no doubts that Blake was soon going to go down on his knee and pop the big question. “He’s smitten by her. He’s going to ask,” Short revealed. “He is in love with that lady. You could see it all over him.”

The pair began dating in 2015, after meeting on the set of the NBC singing competition. At the time, the 'God’s Country' singer had already ended his previous marriage to first wife Miranda Lambert. Soon after they got together, Stefani finalized her divorce from singer Gavin Rossdale in 2016.

After four years of dating, they sparked engagement rumors at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards, where the 'No Doubt' singer was seen wearing a diamond ring as she accepted the Fashion Icon award. She later clarified in an interview with E! News, saying, “It might be a real ring — a real diamond — but it’s not a wedding ring, no. When I have something to say, I’ll say it.”

Gwen and Blake recently bought a house together in October.
