Former ‘Glee’ actor Blake Jenner, who was earlier in news for emotionally, mentally, and physically abusing his ex-partner Melissa Benoist, had a run-in with the law last weekend. The actor was arrested after he caught the attention of police in Burbank, California. The Florida native reportedly failed to stop at a red light last Saturday, July 9.
Speaking of celebrities getting arrested, 'Wedding Crashers' actor Vince Vaughn was arrested for DUI in February 2020. 'Kill Bill' actor Michael Madsen was charged with DUI for the second time in ten years in March 2020. 'A Brand New Life' star Kim Sae-ron, 22, was arrested for drunk driving and hit-and-run in May 2022 and 'Greenhouse Academy' actor Chris O'Neal was too taken in custody for felony DUI after a hit and run left a person injured in the same month.

Why was Blake Jenner arrested?
According to TMZ, Blake Jenner was charged and arrested for DUI. The 29-year-old actor, who was stopped for a safety check last weekend, was discovered driving above the legal blood alcohol limit. TMZ reported that the actor was earlier asked to undergo sobriety testing which he evidently failed.
The ‘Billy Boy’ star was arrested and booked for a DUI. However, he was reportedly released from jail within a day. According to reports, Blake Jenner has been asked to appear in court at a later date. The actor was not immediately available for comment. MEAWW will keep you posted.
Blake Jenner is best known for playing the role of dyslexic football player Ryder Lynn in the fourth season. Blake earlier made news when his ex-wife Melissa Benoist revealed that she was a survivor of domestic violence. The actor later apologized for his actions adding in an Instagram post, “I take full responsibility and accountability for the hurt that I inflicted during my relationship with my past partner- emotionally, mentally and yes, physically.”
