'Black Lightning' Season 3 could see Grace Choi become a dangerous weapon controlled either by A.S.A. or the Markovians

We're yet to see the full extent of Grace's powers and though she has displayed an inability to control them, both the Markovians and the A.S.A have the resources to rectify her problems and turn her into a living weapon.

Grace Choi (Chantal Thuy) is a mystery wrapped in an enigma and stuck inside a shape-changing burrito. There's very little that we know about the mysterious former bartender and the source of her shape-shifting powers but she has nevertheless become a beloved part of 'Black Lightning'. Grace's relationship with Anissa Pierce/Thunder (Nafessa Williams) was one of the most beautiful parts of the series and though she did essentially dump Anissa, the young hero seems determined to find Grace and bring her home to Freeland.

However, Anissa doesn't know about Grace's powers and if she did, she might think twice about trying to bring the young metahuman into the warzone that is Freeland. Season 3 will begin with the corrupt government organization called the A.S.A occupying the city under martial law, in preparation for a full-scale invasion by the rogue nation of Markovia.

The A.S.A has plenty of history with metahumans. In fact, the A.S.A.'s experiments are what led to the creation of meta-humans in the first place. Both the A.S.A. and the Markovians see meta-humans as nothing more than weapons to be controlled and put to work to further their own agendas.

In this war between a secret organization and an evil nation, Grace could prove to be a gamechanger. Her power to change her outward appearance could theoretically give her the ability to impersonate military leaders and heads of state, making her one of the most dangerous meta-humans on the show. We're yet to see the full extent of her powers and though she has displayed an inability to control them, both the Markovians and the A.S.A have the resources to rectify her problems and turn her into a living weapon.

‘Black Lightning’ stars Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce, the show’s titular hero Black Lightning, alongside China Anne McClain and Nafessa Williams as his daughters Jennifer and Anissa, Christine Adams as Jefferson’s ex-wife Dr. Lynn Stewart, Marvin Jones III as Tobias Whale, Damon Gupton as Inspector Henderson, James Remar as Peter Gambi and Bill Duke as Agent Odell of the A.S.A.

Season 3 of ‘Black Lightning’ will begin airing on the CW on October 6.
